TBN and Good Music Agency Acquired by Center Stage Entertainment
Las Vegas, NV, November 30th, 2017 – TBN (Talent Buyer's Network) has announced today the sale of both the TBN business and parent company Good Music Agency to Center Stage Entertainment (CSE) of New Jersey. A newly formed entity under the moniker of “TBN Entertainment” will operate independently of CSE as a national talent booking, marketing, and consulting company focused on serving casinos, arenas & performing arts centers, fairs & festivals, corporate events, and universities.
“It is important to Doug and myself that the company legacy and the agents who flourished under our guidance still see the company as a vital part of the business we nurtured and love. We believe Frank, Todd, and the rest of their team are up to the challenge. These young men have already proven themselves as the right fit to carry on for the coming decades in this changing entertainment business” says Co-founder Brian Knaff who will remain on board with TBN as Chairman and Talent Buyer.
Significant Growth Ahead
The entertainment outsourcing & consulting space is currently showing attractive growth prospects. New owners/partners Frank Catrambone, Jr. and Todd Rodeghiero view the company’s role as a “partnership” with each client rather than just a service business with a predictable menu. “Venues need the right content to provide the best experiences for their customers. In addition to that, however, we’re finding success in serving clients as a partner and consultant – someone who can work closely with the marketing department, or ticketing, or even F&B to provide forecasts and strategic insight on audiences, genres, and demographics” says Catrambone. “We need to help our clients succeed on multiple levels”.
An Iconic Legacy
Brian Knaff and Doug Brown founded Good Music Agency, Inc. in 1972. Throughout the years, GMA maintained a diverse talent roster of more than 125 exclusive bands while training a substantial number of agents who went on to oversee the music industry. Executives like Chip Hooper (Paradigm Agency), Ron Baird (Creative Artists Agency), Keith Miller (William Morris Agency), John Dittmar (Pinnacle Entertainment), James Yelich (Monterey Peninsula Artists) and many more all played a role in the colorful history of GMA. In 1996, GMA established Talent Buyers Network, a unique buyer-oriented agency dedicated to serving the outsourcing needs of entertainment for casinos, festivals & fairs, performing arts centers, private events, universities, and more.
TBN’s legacy of delivering artists to clients has seen them working with some of the top talent in the world including The Rolling Stones, Dave Matthews Band, Bob Dylan, Jay Leno, The Killers, Deadmau5, Kenny Chesney, Chris Rock, Carrie Underwood, and many more.
TBN Entertainment will operate out of Las Vegas, NV and Philadelphia, PA.
